1,000 Voters Hear From Ron Paul
Maple Grove Patch's Wendy Erlien reports from Minnesota:
Paul was the last to speak before the caucus broke into precincts to vote. Paul followed representatives for Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney. Paul took to the stage at 7:30 p.m. to a raucous standing ovation. He opened with a brief reflection on his military experience and medical career before diving head-first into the obvious elephant in the room.
"People have been careless and the representatives in Congress have been careless," Paul said. "We have not taken the oaths of office seriously. I believe most of our problems have come because we have violated the Constitution and we could solve almost all of our problems if we'd only send people to Washington who took the oath of office seriously and obeyed the Constitution."

Paul Moves Into Second Place Nationally, Reuters Poll Says
A national poll from Reuters/Ipsos released Tuesday afternoon shows Ron Paul moving into second place in the Republican field. The Texas congressman earned 21 percent in the survey, a gain of five percentage points over his January numbers and slightly ahead of both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, who polled at 19 percent and 18 percent respectively.
The numbers are significantly at odds with Gallup's daily tracking poll, which put Paul in fourth place today with just 11 percent nationally.
Reuters also said that Mitt Romney's lead was essentially unchanged over the past month despite big wins in Florida and Nevada. Romney polled at 29 percent in February, one percentage point less than his January numbers.
