Flipping through the channels
Late one Sunday night
They said a bomb went off in the Middle East
And 30 lost their lives
It’s just more of the same these days
Bad news is all around
Foreclosures war and disbelief
Are all we ever hear about
And I don’t wanna go to the mailbox
Cause the bills are piling up
While they’ve bailed out the rich man
I still got it tough
And I keep hearing all these speeches
About hope and change
So I know it’s time here and now
To re-new my faith

No place I’d rather be
I’m thankful for the freedom
This country gave to me
So I’ll stand up and be counted
And vote for what is right
And I’d rather see the world at peace
But I’m not afraid to fight
I’m proud to be a BAA

I work hard for every dollar
That’s what I learned from Dad
But he got laid off and lost his home
It’s never been so bad
They’re shutting down our factories
That made this country great
Sending all our jobs overseas
Lets keep them here in the USA!
Sick of hearing politicians say
That it’s someone else’s fault
While they blame the left and blame the right
We all bare the cost
Now it’s time to raise our voices
To those who won’t hear our cries
We may be young, don’t underestimate
The power we hold inside
