Whoops: Election officials in Florida recounted 37,000 early voting ballots in St. Lucie County this weekend. The results showed the Allen West’s opponent Patrick Murphy GAINED votes on West by 242.

“This election is over,” Murphy advisor Eric Johnson told reporters. The local canvassing board decided to burn everyone’s time with a recount after a Florida judge declined to order one on Friday.

As of today the total now stands at:
Murphy : 65,841
West : 52,704

No, don’t hold your breath waiting for West to concede. Not completely sure why that matters anyway.
