Florida and Ohio battleground polls

Mitt Romney has an uphill fight against President Obama in two key battleground states. In Ohio, Obama has an advantage in the crucial effort to contact voters. But one challenge for both sides: Neither wins overwhelming confidence when it comes to greatly improving the economy in the upcoming years



Source: These Washington Post polls were conducted by telephone Sept. 19 to 23, among random samples of adults in Florida and Ohio, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. Results among registered voters in Florida (925) and Ohio (934) have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points and 4.5 points for likely voters in Florida (769) and Ohio (759).
