President Obama spoke at the annual meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee abut U.S. relations with Israel and the situation in the Middle East. In his remarks he outlined his administration's policies in the region and cautioned against any premature military action against Iran and its nuclear program, but also said that America was ready to strike Iran should sanctions fail.
