Governor Mitch Daniels gave the Republican Party response to President
Barack Obama's State of the Union address. He criticized the president's
economic policies and divisiveness, saying "no feature of the Obama
presidency has been sadder than its constant effort to divide us, to
curry favor with some Americans by castigating others." The speech was
delivered from the War Memorial in Indianapolis.
