What's Up with Air Traffic Controllers

The First Lady's plane was forced to abort its landing and circle Andrews Air Force base yesterday, after a controller error brought the official White House plane too close to a giant C17 cargo jet; and in Ohio, a night controller has been suspended for watching a movie while on duty. NBC's Brian Williams reports.




New rules are being put into place after numerous cases of sleeping on the job. NBC's Chris Clackum reports.






The FAA makes changes after a several controllers were found dozing. Msnbc's Contessa Brewer talks with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.






A career air traffic controller says that while the problem of sleeping on the job is not new to the airline industry, air travel is still extremely safe. NBC's Brian Williams reports.
