I love this guy. A Democrat with a backbone that has figured out that the only way you can cut through a political block who refuses to rationally approach problems is to call them on it through humor. And the only way you can go on Fox and respond to their interviews is to respond in kind and yell back at them. Forget pleasantries when you're not dealing with pleasant people.

@BeenThereReally Ultimately, ALL projects can be measured in terms of worth. The more we have a budget crisis, the more worth each dollar spent has, but some projects are more well received than others. Defunding NPR is basically just a way for the republicans to depower the Democrats, because public broadcast (PBS and NPR) followers tend to vote democrat. The actual amount of money given to NPR and PBS by the state is essentially trivial-it's a red herring power grab and nothing more.- Weiner for president 2012!!
- @BeenThereReally If the Marines can't pay their own bills, clearly they need to be defunded. Those airforce moochers? There's a good cut. And don't even get me started on the navy: A boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money.
