Joyce Kaufman Resigns as Allen West's Chief-of-Staff

This is who a Congressman -elect has chosen for his chief - of - staff... weird, disturbing, and a little too far right for comfort.......Scarey
I added these two videos to show how controversial Ms. Kaufman is and that she could hurt Congressman- elect West even before he takes office.

Watch Allen West’s newly designated chief of staff in action, at a July 4th tea party event, campaigning for Allen West and other Republicans, and asking whether she and her supporters will be “banned from gathering on street corners” and threatening that if West and her other favored candidates don’t get elected, the next step would be armed revolution. Her big line: “if ballots don’t work, bullets will.” And the title of her speech: the ballot box or the “cartridge box.” Seriously:

More Joyce: this time talking up Israel, but throwing in a healthy dose of rage, anti-Muslim rhetoric, and deciphering God:

Can't say this is much of a surprise. Joyce Kaufman, South Florida talk radio's own answer to the Michael Savages and Rush Limbaughs of the world, has resigned as Broward and Palm Beach-area Congressmen-elect Allen West's chief-of-staff. The resignation comes after a number of controversial remarks Kaufman made came to light, and yet both Kaufman and West are blaming "the left-wing smear machine" for merely reporting on Kaufman's own words.

Back in 2007 a New Times article reported that on-air Kaufman said, "If you commit a crime while you're here, we should hang you and send your body back to where you came from, and your family should pay for it," of immigrants.

Though, that was only one of a handful of inciderary comments that caught up Kaufman. She also called Nancy Pelosi "garbage," and while refering to reaching the goals of the Tea Party at a July 4th rally, "if ballots don't work, bullets will."

It was those comments that yesterday lead a still unidentified person to send a message to Kaufman's radio station that he would shot up several schools. That threat lead to several Broward County schools to be put on lockdown for much of the day.

Today she took to her radio show to declare that she would not accept West's offer to become his chief-of-staff in DC.

She called the uproar an "electronic lynching by proxy" before calling members of the press who dared to report on her comments "vermin" and "evil."

Naked Politics reports that West himself later called in and said, "I'm even more commited, even more focused on making sure that this liberal, progressive, socialist agenda, this leftwing vile, vicious, despicable machine that is out there is soundly brought to its knees."

Hmm, so the only way to put an end to a largely imagined pissing match between the "left" and "right" is to continue fighting that very war.

Memo to Kaufman and West: Americans largely do no elect politicians to fight a war between the left and the right. They do so to run our government and solve our problems. Take a look at the employment statistics in your district. There's far more pressing issues than the leftwing boogeyman.
