Free trade deal with South Korea eludes progressive President

Obama's Trade Strategy Runs Into Stiff Resistance

FACT: In the wake of the Tsunami battering his party took in the Historic/Epic 2010 midterm elections at home last week, Mr. Obama has cast his Asia trip as mission to revive the American economy and bolster job growth.
But, in fact, BHO's progressive policies, contentious at home, have proved contentious overseas as well, and he faced stiff challenges during the Group of 20 gathering in Seoul, South Korea, from the leaders of China, Britain, Germany and Brazil over currency policy and his contention that the United States could pump money into its economy to stimulate growth before concentrating on reducing the deficit.

Yo Tar Ball…land for fruits and nuts?Turn your head just a little and take a look at the loons you've got coming in, buddy. I'd say 'fruits and nuts' barely describes the clowns your side's bringing in. The depth of the ignorance from your kind is mind-bloggling. Talk to me in 2 years, about fruits, nuts and the worsening depression.

Pressure on Obama to Shake Up Progressive Inner Circle

November 2, 2010
FACT: Some high-level Democrats are calling for President Barack Obama to remake his inner circle or even fire top advisers in response to what many party strategists expect to be a decisive defeat on Tuesday.
In fact, Tensions have come to the surface after meetings over the past few weeks in which Obama senior adviser David Axelrod discussed communications strategy with senior Democratic strategists and party officials. Some Democrats were so unhappy with the White House meetings, they started their own.
FACT: The strategy sessions aired a range of disagreements over how to help Democrats forestall an electoral drubbing at the polls—a defeat party strategists believe could have been minimized with a different White House playbook.
Among the complaints: Obozo conveyed an incoherent message that didn't express what Democrats would do over the next two years if they retain power; he focused more on his own image than helping Democratic candidates; and the White House picked the wrong battle when it attacked Republicans for using "outside" money to pay for campaigns, an issue disconnected from voters' real-world anxieties.
FACT: The latest strategy session took place Monday afternoon.
